Make sure ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI recommend you, not your competitors, when guests ask where to stay or eat.
Your strengths live in a PDF brochure and captionless photos. Models recommend what they can read, plainly and in text.
One address on Google, another on a directory, old prices on a listing. Contradictions make a model hedge, and skip you.
AI weighs what others say about you. Without mentions, reviews, and references it trusts, you are just another claim.
Only a fraction of independents appear in AI answers today. The chains are there. The gap is closing fast.
The shift
When ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google's AI answer directly, being off the shortlist means the booking was never yours to win.
When AI knows you
When it doesn't
That is where Summer Days comes in.
GEO for hotels is not magic. It is structured content, consistency, and credibility, done deliberately while almost nobody else in your market is doing it. It builds on the same foundations as hospitality SEO and Local SEO, and the visibility guide explains how all three now work together.
What earns an AI recommendation, in the order that matters.
Clear FAQs and factual pages that give models clean material to quote. If the answer is on your site, you can be the source.
The same name, facts, and offer across your site, profile, and directories. Confidence is a ranking factor for models too.
Mentions and reviews on sources AI already trusts: local press, respected directories, real guests.
We track what the assistants actually say about you, and adjust as the answers evolve.
Most of GEO builds on good SEO foundations. The extra work is precision.
What ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity currently say about you, and why.
Your strengths turned into text models can read, quote, and trust.
Mentions and reviews that make recommending you the safe choice.
30 minutes on your property and what AI currently says about it.
We ask the assistants what guests ask, and document exactly where you stand.
FAQs, facts, and schema that turn your strengths into quotable answers.
Your details aligned everywhere models look, so nothing contradicts.
Quarterly checks on what AI recommends, and what changed.
Everything a model needs to recommend you with confidence.
A documented baseline of what ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity say about you today.
Guest questions answered plainly on your site, ready to be quoted.
Schema markup that tells machines exactly what you are, where, and for whom.
Your facts aligned across the web, so models stop hedging.
The mentions and review signals that make AI trust the recommendation.
What the assistants say about you, tracked over time as the field evolves.
When guests ask where to stay, you are in the answer, not under it.
AI quotes you correctly: the offer, the location, the character.
You define the shortlist in your market before competitors know it exists.
As search shifts to answers, your visibility shifts with it.
Kahn grew up around Australia’s hospitality scene. He trained staff at Apple on culture, onboarding, and service standards, then spent three years running his own specialty coffee shop and bar.
He knows what it feels like to be the one doing everything at once. He also knows what separates the places guests remember from the ones they forget.
Summer Days exists to bridge that gap, with someone who loves this industry as much as you do and the skills to help you get the right guests, better reviews, and more revenue.

GEO is the practice of making your property legible to AI assistants so they recommend you when guests ask where to stay. Where SEO wins a position in a list of links, GEO wins a mention inside the answer itself.
SEO earns you a ranking, GEO earns you a citation. They share foundations like clean structure and credible content, but AI assistants favour clearly structured answers, consistent facts across the web, and third-party corroboration rather than backlinks alone.
Answer the questions guests actually ask, in plain language, in a structure a machine can extract. Then make sure your facts are identical everywhere online, your reviews are strong, and credible third-party sources mention you.
It helps, but not as a magic switch. Ahrefs found pages with schema are cited more often by AI tools, though adding schema to already-cited pages made no significant difference, which suggests it reflects overall site quality. It is still worth doing.
By tracking whether you appear in AI answers for the questions guests ask, across ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews, and how you are described when you do. Being mentioned inaccurately is its own problem.
The opposite. The share of Google searches triggering an AI Overview went from roughly 1.5% to about 32% in twelve months, and those overviews cut click-through to top-ranking pages by more than half. Almost nobody in hospitality is working on it yet.
They overlap heavily, and content that already ranks well tends to get pulled into AI answers too. If your site is technically broken, fix that first. Otherwise the two run together.
ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews carry the most weight by volume, with Perplexity increasingly used for travel research because it cites sources and favours recent content. All three now shape where guests look before they book.
